Eighty Square Feet
2017 summer

Eighty Square Feet is a video installation that emphasizes the distortion of our perception in the context of emerging new media and the confusion about the authentic existence of ourselves. I see my private room as the subject that also serves the function of a mirror. It reflects the hidden memory marks in each of my personal objects. The reality and self-consciousness parallel but crossed together to obscure our sensations. In this work, I questioned the ambiguous identification of observer and observed, the concept of inside and outside.

This video below is about my work concept, technical process, and how it was exhibited in Pablo's Birthday Gallery.3D Models were created in Autodesk Maya 2017. The scene was rendered in Arnold Render.
